BIOGRAFIA:
Theu Boermans (born: 11 January 1950) is Netherlands most acclaimed and award winning Dutch stage director, famous for his highly successful musical Soldier of Orange and the international acclaimed stage adaptation of The diary of Anne Frank. In 1998 he switched to directing and founded his own company called The Trust. They specialized in new playwriters and innovative new adaptions of classic plays from Shakespeare and Tsjechow. With The Trust Boermans also made his first film, 1000 ROSES. In 2011 he was appointed Artistic Director of the National Theatre. In 1993 Boermans was awarded the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds prijs for his entire oeuvre. SEA OF TIME will be his long expected feature film.
