BIOGRAFIA:
Karen has been writing television series, film screenplays and children’s books for over 30 years. Often for young people, but also regularly for adults, like Kenau, De Gelukkige huisvrouw, and Jackie. In the 90’s she became well known with the general public as Bep Brul from the VPRO series Lunatik, which she wrote, together with Martin van de Waardenberg. At present, Karen is also working at animation and her first feature film is being made. Her most successful youth films are Achtste groepers huilen niet, Oorlogsgeheimen and Storm, all of which have won prizes and have been shown all over the globe.
