BIOGRAFIA:
Gijs Scholten van Aschat enjoys a great reputation for his stage, film and television roles. In 2010 Gijs joined Toneelgroep Amsterdam (now ITA), where he can be seen in the premiere of OBSESSION (with Jude Law), HUSBANDS & WIVES and DE STILLE KRACHT, among others. As of now he can be seen in the miniseries THE SPECTACULAR and in 2022 he will play one of the main roles in THE STAMHOUDER. He has won several theater awards including the most important ones: in 1993 the Louis d'Or for DECADENCE (the National Theatre) and in 2004 the Albert van Dalsum Ring. He won in 1998 a Golden Calf for his part in OUD GELD.
