BIOGRAFIA:
Elsie de Brauw studied at the Theatre Academy in Maastricht and worked with Theatre group Hollandia, Toneelgroep Amsterdam and NTGent, among others. She has won a Theo d’Or (the highest award for the leading role in theatre in The Netherlands) twice; in 2006 Elsie for her role in OPENING NIGHT (Ivo van Hove) by Toneelgroep Amsterdam and in 2011 for her role in GIF by NTGent. Elsie won a Golden Calf (Dutch equivalent of the Oscars in Holland) for her leading role in the feature film TUSSENSTAND by Mijke de Jong. She also starred in ANTONIA (awarded an Oscar for Best Foreign Film), CLOACA, VERDWIJNEN, HET LEVEN IS VURRUKKULLUK, GOD ONLY KNOWS and DRIJFZAND. In addition, she played in Dutch television series such as LIJN 32, IN THERAPY, IK BEN WILLEM and DE KROON.
